In 1961 Ed and Mabel Wolf moved to the valley with their 3 children, Ron, Audrey and Art, to farm and market garden along Highway 20. In 1971, they purchased the general store in Craven from the Gibson's and Wolf's General Store opened on the corner of Fraser Avenue and Tennant Street. By 1980, Art had married Lee, a local girl from Bulyea and the two of them moved home to help Ed and Mabel with the store. When we lost Ed, Art kept the family business going and in 2005, it was time to grow!

Wolf's General Store relocated to Highway 20 and more than doubled in size from the in-town location. The new location offered more convenience for passing highway traffic. And we've continued to grow! Art added the office building which houses our neighbours on the lot, a larger space for the Garden Centre was laid out and the Woodpile was added.
